Distribution of certificates
After a year’s long training, the young women from the resettlement colonies of Chitkohra, Kaushal Nagar, Digha, Gaighat, TV Tower gathered at IMA Hall for the program. The chief Guest was Ms. Rashmi Jha – of Social development of Bihar. The young women from the trainees were also provided a platform to place their views of what it means to be an empowered woman. The journey of struggle that they have undertaken and how they feel today. Young girls spoke of their dream – on of the young girls spoke of pursuing her dream of becoming a fashion designer. Bedami Devi, Shardha devi both trainers shared their story and experience , which encouraged the young women. 105 young women were awarded by certificates by Ms. Rashmi Jha, Dorothy Fernandes.
The young women assured us that they would definitely pursue this skill
