Eviction at Sahgaadi Masjid
Since the water logging has taken place there is a constant fear to the people who live along the drains. Even though we have told the people that they should cooperate with the police and the administration. The huts that were on the roadside were removed by the people. Yet there was a fear that they would move down and demolish the entire slum.
This fear always looms in the minds of the people, especially children when it’s time for them to go to school; they wonder whether on their return their huts will be there or not. Somehow the officials need to be monitored, as they are least bothered whose huts they are demolishing.
