Eviction and demolition is the new chorus that we hear around the city. There is only one track thinking in the government and administration. How to make life easy for a section of people. While we need beautification and good roads this should never be at the cost of depriving the poor of their homes and livelihood. The bureaucrats have no idea of how the poor struggle to make both ends meet. Yet here the law of eviction is so rampant. Discussing the issue and trying to find a way forward has becoming very important. We need to bring about a change in things, so that we can move ahead. In this day and century things cannot continue the way it is.
