As the team members move among the settlements and meet with people, it is always a joy to be in the midst of the people. We as team felt that we need to motivate our people so that they can live without fear. The sessions were held in two settlements, Strand Road, Sahgaadi Masjid to empower the people and to ensure that they do not get affected by the present situation. Maintaining social distance and wearing masks they sat together and listened patiently to what was being said to them. They were filled with hope and they interacted well among themselves. Some tips were also given as to how to combat eviction and how they need to organize themselves. Empowerment is a process and we hope our people living in the settlements will be empowered to protect themselves.
