The Women Development Corporation of Bihar on the occasion on Dusshera, organized a Mela. For the nine days of Navraatri, they chose 9 women from different walks of life who are "Stree Shakti". Some were entrepreneurs.....I was chosen for my work of economic empowerment of women for the past 25 years in Bihar - Celebrating Women Stree Shakti. It was a moment of joy and pride…..of encouragement to continue to make a difference....it was said these are the unsung heroes who for the past 25 years have been working tirelessly among those on the margins..
I thank God for the health I enjoy and the courage to continue against many odds and to believe that I do make a difference to some....To God be the honor and glory....
