Distribution of blankets
Due to evictions many communities were rendered homeless. Some of them were living in the open air with just a plastic sheet over their head. It is painful to experience the pain of these communities. The challenge before us to keep them warm; to ensure that they have some security and safety. Knocking at different doors we got a good response from NTPC.
On the 28, January in collaboration with NTPC, we were in a position to distribute some near to 200 blankets to the most vulnerable communities. As we distributed the blankets to the very vulnerable people we felt humbled. There was a sense of satisfaction as we felt that we had given some warmth at least to some of the vulnerable sctions.
