Guest on Women’s Day

This year the scenario did not lend for any celebration. The initiative and response of women to the draconian law did send out a loud message of another freedom struggle. For me this is the celebration of International Women’s Day. This is celebration when we can recognize women’s contribution; of soaring high; of taking the responsibility of saving our Democracy under very difficult times and situations. Women’s contribution has to be acknowledged and documented.

‘Prabhat Khabar’ – a Hindi daily invited Dorothy to give her views on how high women have soared. Unfortunately they did not print the most important matter. On the 8th Dorothy was honored by PAGC Foundation as one of the –Unsung heroes. It was a rather different meet with fairly young and truly unsung heroes who were present in the group.
