INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS DAY
It is sad but true that today more so than ever, there is a need to raise the consciousness to defend human rights. There is a gross violation of human rights…be it the denial of the fundamental rights enshrined in our Indian constitution. Today across the country there is a new concept emerging rapidly – “Smart Cities”. Unfortunately our administrators do not realize that this has been a huge failure in the Western World.
Beautification, cleanliness is something that we also promote…but instead of investing in only widening roads and constructing fly overs and parks, it is more essential to make the citizens of Patna smart. Just….inclusive cities so that there’s space for everyone…as we share a common home…we have only one planet..
We marched from JP roundabout to Kargil Chowk demanding that the basic fundamental rights remain intact and the homes of our Service Providers and their livelihood be protected.
