Raising our voices against inflation, unemployment, corruption
As the price of essential commodities keep rising, the common person is struggling to make both ends meet. While we were debating about taking out a peaceful, protest march, we learnt that the opposition parties were going to take to the streets. We seized this opportunity and being a Sunday, we got our people to join in if they felt that it is an issue that needs to be opposed to. There was a very visible crowd and as time went on, the crowd swelled. Though it was hot and sunny people remained from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm. A very powerful message was given to the Central Government that enough is enough and now we are neither afra id, nor can we be bought. it seemed that the protest was a success as the very next day the bjp, jdu coalition fell and the common people began to believe in their collective power
