Celebrating Republic Day
As each year we try to imbibe the patriotic values with all our groups with whom we are engaged, this year also we unfurled the flag at different places – Digha with children from the centers and sewing group. At Siphara with the construction workers. At Yaarpur with the vendors and at TV Tower and Gaighat with the children of the learning centers and the sewing centers.
In spite of the cold the little children gathered together with little flags in their hands and were all dressed in their finest clothes. Patriotic songs were sung and poems were recited. The construction workers and the vendors gave speeches to create awareness among the gathering.
