Interacting with people living in the slums
Ever since the announcement of “Smart Cities” has been in the newspaper there has been a certain happiness in the hearts of our people, till we began to have conversations with them.
The price of Smart Cities began to surface from the 15, August onwards. The government has adopted a new strategy that of removal of encroachment and that the order has been given by the Patna High Court. There was fear in the hearts of our people as they did not know what would happen.
It became very important to meet communities in groups and discuss the matter with them. It was with this in mind we visited the communities at Punai Chak near officer’s quarters and Railway Crossing Punai Chak. As we sat with them and listened to their fears, we were forced to encourage them and build their strength to face all the ordeal that may befall them.
