Campaign of awareness at Rainbow Colony community

During the last few months after the lockdown was lifted people have been trying to make both ends meet. Many people have lost their jobs and have been rendered jobless. Work was not possible and many people were not employing people who served them earlier. It was a very challenging time. The easiest way was to be engaged in the sale of alcoholism. All of a sudden the sale of liquor became very prevalent. It has been made so easily available that we as an organization realized that we had to intervene. So, pre noon was dedicated to visit the people in small groups, tell them about the danger of liquor and motivate them to give up this job. Many of them belong to the sweeping community, so we assured them that we would liaison with the Municipal Corporation of the Kankerbagh circle and try to get as many as possible to do this job. The campaign was quite effective as the word spread around. We hope and pray that some alternative will come forth
