Celebrating Constitution Day
Today more so than ever, there’s a need for safeguarding our Indian Constitution, which is in danger. There was a call given by the Prime Minister to the nation that as citizens we should celebrate ‘Constitution Day’. We in Patna took this seriously and formed a platform –‘Nagrik Adhikar Manch’ under this banner we had a great awareness for the people in the city. People from the outskirts of Patna and from the slums came out in big numbers and showed their respect and loyalty towards the nation. People moved out in discipline; we kept the covid -19 SoP in mind. Using of masks, sanitizers, checking the temperature and trying to maintain social distance. Our emphasis was on – Equality Justice, Fraternity and Freedom, values which are enshrined in our constitution and which we need to uphold.
