Examination at Chitkohra Center
After many days of spending time at the sewing center at Chitkohra, the young girls were all ready to have their exams. This time we felt that we should also test the young seamstresses how they will be able to take the measurement of their customers. It was quite an experience as we watched the young lady take down the measurement of her companion. The files were full with small samples of their year’s work, it was very heartening to see he interest taken by some of the students.
There is a sense of self confidence in the young women and they dream of being economically independent and be in a position to earn their livelihood. It is a time to celebrate the accomplishment of the young women.
