In support of our Farmers

The ones who provide food for us have been peacefully protesting for a long time. The three draconian laws out in place are going to effect the farmers adversely. They will lose their freedom and gradually their land may also be grabbed by the big corporate. It is sad that India has an agricultural population of more than 70% tilling the land and yet they have had no say in the framing of laws. The big corporate like Adani and Ambani are going to profit from these laws. The MSP will have no place and so it becomes very imperative that our intelligent farmers demand repel of this law.

On International Human Rights Day we as an organization conducted a signature campaign where we tried to generate awareness among the general public. Many of them were in support of the farmers and willingly joined the campaign. Others had a different opinion, it was an opportunity to interact with the people and generate awareness. When people join in this campaign, then it will help to stand in solidarity and give power to our farmers.
