International Environment Day

This year more so than ever, it is important to create awareness among people of e need to respect and protect the environment. The Covid 19 has posed a huge challenge on us and we need to respond with great sensitivity to the issues that area arising among the people. Nature has been giving us signs of the need to adhere to the destruction around us. The greed for power and amassing of wealth has become one of the most dangerous reasons for the spread of the virus. When we analyze the reasons there are more than one and yet it is sad that even today we are not prepared to stop and ask selves if we need to change our life patterns. Symbolically we organized a small group of people who maintaining social distance were able to take an oath that they would protect the trees. We also planted some fruit trees in our office campus. Let us pray that the Almighty may make us sensitive to save our Common Earth
