As the team members moved among the communities, the problems of the community were being shared. The biggest problem was about the need to build drains. Though the water connection was given to the community but outlet was not made possible. Unfortunately we have to make the community to come to the realization of being strong to do their own work. This attitude of dependency makes them weak and comes across as beggars, receivers. This equation has to change; we need to bring this to the realization of the community. In the meantime, two of our team members wrote a letter of complaint from the community at Navkottia and presented them to – the Member of the Legislative Assembly – Dr. Sanjeev Chourasia of the Digha constituency under which Navkottia falls. Another copy was presented to the PA of the Commissioner of the Patna Municipal Corporation, so that appropriate actions could take place.
