It is rather shocking to note that though we are in the third millennium, we find that some of the officials in Patna seem to be going backwards. On one hand we talk about development yet on the other hand it is destruction. Development going backwards. There are some officials now who are thinking of blocking a common road that had been used for decades from the time of the British rule. The common road is being used by the community at Kaushal Nagar. Now there is a plan by some officials to block this main road and keep it open only for officials and a separate road for the common people. This work was being undertaken on the 09, June 2022 at 11.30 pm under the support of the District Magistrate. When one or two people noticed what was happening, they raised an alarm and have since been opposing this venture. Some MP’s MLA of Digha also joined and became part of the protest. People have been agitating against this kind of wrong policy. The journey continues as we continue this struggle.
