Meeting at Siphaai Ghat
Today, is a great miracle, many years of hard work, of persistently meeting with various bureaucrats and advocating the cause of the people who live on the periphery, a light has shone. The present Commissioner of the Patna Municipal Corporation is a very sincere and dedicated person. His ever readiness to reach out to the people who are living on the periphery has always been rewarding. Mr. A. Suman is a man of action and he took the trouble to share the manner in which people maybe looking at him - as someone coming to evict them. He requested us to have a meeting at Siphaai Ghat on the 04th at 6.30 am.
The meeting was a big success as the people gathered and the officer was present with his team and he listened to what complaints the people had. He assured them that they would not be evicted. He also promised to have water, electricity and toilets seat up for the use of the people.
It was a tremendous success as we for the first time were able to get the commissioner to come to the residents of the people and talk to them and listen to their problems
