Orientation for St. Xavier’s College
Being engaged with the urban poor, we are always exploring new ways as to how to make a difference to our people on the periphery. Our experience over the years has given us the opportunity to meet with some very bright and intelligent children. They dream of moving ahead in life but unfortunately they do not get the opportunity nor do they have the means to realize their dreams. One way to help them and fill them with confidence is to ensure that they at least get the basics of learning.
St. Xavier’s College, Digha, Patna, send their students for an outreach program of 30 hours of experience with communities on the periphery. They move in groups to different dwelling units and spend 30 hours to teach the children the basics of English.
