Paying homage to Kusum Jaiswal

Our association with Kusum Jaiswal has been a very good experience, though a very challenging one. She was widowed and childless and was confined to a room when I first met her way back in 2007. With God’s grace we were in a position to free her from all these bondages. We had taken it upon ourselves to look after her. We had a good relationship with her and as her desire was to avail of her space for the service of the poor. Unfortunately, a fall lead to her developing pneumonia; and she left for her abode on 06, February 2012. In memory of this great woman who remains for us an inspiration and an epitome of generosity. We prayed that this noble soul will rest in Peace as we paid floral tributes to her and thank God for the life she lived.
