Quit hatred, save the Constitution
The scenario in the country is becoming more and more violent as hatred and venom is being spread around to divide people on the basis of caste, creed, and class. This [poses a big challenge to those of us who are working for the rights of people. In order to counteract this hatred among our people under the banner of ‘Citizen’s Forum” a network of civil society a day’s program was organized at Kaushal Nagar settlement. The purpose was to bring people under one banner and to awaken them to our constitutional rights. Over the years we have lived in peace and harmony partaking in the festivals and moments of joy with the community. Suddenly there are questions arising about who we are, what we eat, what we wear.
The elderly on the dais invited the gathering to reflect to the rich heritage we uphold. Our forefathers preserved these values now it is our time and we need to focus on how we are? It is important that the younger generation rises to the occasion and also responds to the present day challenges. The gathering was also reminded that people of all creed, caste took part I the Freedom struggle and laid down their lives for the Freedom of India. Today, we need to be attentive to those who are poisoning our minds and dividing us. Let us resolve to keep our unity as one great country.
