Remembering Venerable Nano Nagle
We stand on the shoulders of those gone ahead of us and it is only fitting that we remember them. Venerable Nano Nagle’s life is what gives our organization the ethos to continue our work among those less privileged and on the periphery. 26, April 1784 is the day when Nano breathed her last. Hear parting message to us were very precise: Love one another as you have hitherto done……spend yourselves for those kept poor.
True to her parting message we gathered together and prayed as we listened to her last days. We also recalled the many people across the Globe who have been going home to God due to this pandemic. We prayed for families who are broken, shattered, praying that they will be strengthened to move on in life.
We paid floral homage to this great valiant woman as we asked for strength and grace to move ahead with courage and strength. May we be blessed and kept safe and that our world may be healed of the pandemic.
