Sharpening our work plan

Due to the rapid spread of the virus in Patna, we at Aashray Abhiyan decided not to take a risk and to stay at home. In the process, we kept in touch with the community over the phone so that they also felt cared for and important. At the beginning of August, we spent a day with beginning with some exercises to build our immunity and to relax and get prepared for the day’s proceedings. As we went through the exercises, it was very energizing and relaxing. The manner in which we would work from 4th August was discussed. Each member shared what they had understood and within the week how they would meet with the community and identify young members and women and men to become responsible for their community. The enthusiasm and the readiness to move into groups maintaining physical distancing was emphasized. The exercise was to be completed within a week. Efforts are being made also to see how we can if possible put pressure on the administration and the government to first to offer alternatives.
