TB identification camp at Sahgaadi Masjid
The inauguration of the TB identification camp took place at Sahgaadi Masjid. Dr. Sanjeev Chourasia – MLA, Digha was present as the guest of honour. He addressed the gathering by encouraging people to avail of this opportunity to undertake the investigation and to get rid of TB. On the occasion was the District T B officer who also encouraged the people to avail of this facility.
As the camp progressed people came forward to get them checked and to also tried to call other people as well. Maintaining the register and follow up of the patients will be a special feature for this program. It was quite a successful endeavor but we need to motivate people to get rid of the taboo.
