The communities who have been living along the canal were evicted due to the construction of road and bridge. It is sad that though the bridge and roads have been widened, the government has till date not rehabilitated the people in anyway. People live in very inhuman situation without water and washrooms. They are treated as the scum of society and it is very pathetic, no facilities of road or education. People live on the mercy of God and we also have been visiting the settlement for sometime but unfortunately the elected representatives have done nothing to give them a dignified life. Our survey and linking them with the PDS is the main focus and we will ensure that they will get the basic facilities
