Our work on ‘housing’, brings us face to face with the communities who experience constant eviction and are forced to live under the open sky. While we stand in solidarity with them in this situation, being with them is helpful. We continue to advocate for this case with the bureaucrats and government. Due to development projects of widening of roads, people are simply shoved out without any alternative. It is so inhuman when people are not respected and they are disrobed of their dignity. Such an inhuman manner in which people live their life makes them resilient as vulnerability is so common to their experience.. when we visit interact with them they experience that they are also human and caraed for.
